Jen Burrell completed her BSc at the University of Alberta, with a specialization in Psychological Research, in 2021. As an Undergrad, Jen researched a novel approach to diagnosing stroke using mobile electroencephalography (EEG), in hopes of generating a more efficient and accurate pre-hospital diagnosis of stroke tool (Burrell et al., 2020).

Currently, Jen is investigating how mind-wandering interacts with thought modalities, the way thoughts are consciously arising in the mind. Her research interests span thought generation, neurological correlates of thought, attention deficit hyperactivity, cannabis, psychedelics and more.
